Le Consulat enjoys a superb location right on the Praça Luís de Camões, offering some rooms with delightful views of the square. The proximity to Tram 28 and the metro is a plus, and the best Portuguese tart shop is practically next door. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms and the building's blend of modern decor with historical charm; though, some have noted that breakfast was basic. The location makes it easy to explore nearby attractions like Pink Street and the Time Out food hall.

Fantastic Central Stay

convenient locationnice visitpre-packaged pastries
The location was central. I could easily walk to many attractions. There was a famous pastel de nata store right next door (an added bonus!). The hotel also arranged day trips, including a nice visit to Sintra. I found this service very convenient.
The breakfast pastries were a bit basic, tasting like they were pre-packaged. Given the excellent local bakeries nearby, this was a bit disappointing. I expected fresher options considering the hotel's reputation and price point.

Our suite had two balconies and was quite large. An extra bed was added for my third daughter, and there was still plenty of space. The spacious apartment was very comfortable for our group.

The hotel sits right on a square, providing easy access to restaurants and coffee shops. The tram 28 stop is also right next to the hotel. The location is very centric for exploring the city.
